First time in the east: Zminotvortsi regional trips in November
In November, we visited seven regions: Odesa, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, and Poltava.
During our trip to Ovidiopol and Dobrooleksandrivka in the Odesa Region, Nadiia Dryzytska, the teacher of the “Media and Information” course, joined us and met Zminotvortsi participants for the first time.
We also visited Luhyny, a town in the Zhytomyr Region, which became one of our first regional stops 1.5 years ago.
We’re boldly expanding to the east! For the first time, we visited the Dnipropetrovsk Region, stopping in the village of Novooleksandrivka and the town of Pereshchepyne. On trips to the Kharkiv Region, we welcomed teenagers from Berestyne and Natalyne. In Zaporizhzhia, we reached Vilniansk and the village of Mykhailo-Lukasheve.
Many of our meetings took place in shelters during air raid alerts, but that didn’t stop us from connecting and engaging with participants.
We also returned to Kirovohrad and Poltava Regions. Teenagers from these areas were among the first to join our educational system.
Special thanks to our partner, Dmytruk-Foods, for providing delicious snacks.
We are grateful to the International Renaissance Foundation for supporting our regional trips and to Ukrnafta for providing the fuel that makes these journeys possible.
