Vladyslav Hreziev: “It’s hard for teenagers to choose a profession because the world is changing so fast”
Vladyslav Hreziev, co-founder and ideologist of Zminotvortsi, spoke at the opening of European Youth Capital 2025 in Lviv.
This year, thousands of young people and representatives of government, international, and non-governmental organisations gathered for the multi-day launch event.

During a panel discussion on employment in wartime, someone from the audience asked how young people can navigate today’s rapidly changing job market when universities often teach outdated material, which leads many to drop out.
At Zminotvortsi, we see this issue starting in high school. Teenagers struggle to choose a profession because they don’t know what’s happening in the world, and the reality is changing quickly. That’s why we created 12 online courses across core areas of modern life to help teenagers understand how today’s world works.

He added that this approach also supports career orientation, since in Zminotvortsi, young people receive first-hand insights from expert practitioners and can ask them anything.
“It’s a complex problem — and we need to approach it comprehensively,” Vladyslav emphasised.
We’re proud to be part of driving change and working with Ukrainian youth to build a strong, successful future for everyone.
