Zminotvortsi in Korosten: highlights from our first weekend intensive
On November 30, we held our first weekend intensive for teenagers from the Khoroshiv, Luhyny, Korosten, and Chopovychi communities.
Together with the instructors of the “Health,” “Art,” “State and Politics,” “Society,” and “National Security” courses, we organized a series of engaging activities.
We introduced Zminotvortsi to 90 local students who selected sessions on the biology of inspiration, local community issues, biases, the military, fair rules, and healthy living. Alongside the instructors, participants tackled real-world scenarios, broke down stereotypes, analyzed a case about stray animals, and even brainstormed solutions to smoking in schools.
A special thanks to Ukrnafta for providing the fuel that made this journey possible. We are also grateful to the International Renaissance Foundation for their partnership, Morshynska for keeping us hydrated, and KABANOSY for the tasty treats.
